I'd just like to keep you updated on a few things, and make a little announcement.
About Up and Ahead
As some of you might already know, after not getting accepted by 5 publishing houses last year, I decided to go on my own way and become an independent artist/publisher, and try my luck by opening my own tiny publishing house, Editora Aventura, with only me working on it. All the paperwork is nearly done and I'm almost ready to begin. Patreon helped me a LOT, so I owe this to you guys. Thank you so, so much. I'm on my way to catch that star!
I naturally plan on printing and publishing Up and Ahead, which should happen sometime during the next months! I'll be selling copies online as soon as I get them printed.
To cover part of the printing costs (which unfortunately for coloured pages is tremendously high -_-) I'll probably start a little kickstarter campaign. I have no idea if it'll work, but anything helps, like Patroen does, a LOT! (Thank you thank you thank you!!!)
About No North
As you know, I've been working on No North's script for nearly a year now. But I made myself deadlines I've barely been able to achieve. The script is currently on page 230, and I'm finally into the third act, but that's not even half of the work I still have ahead, not to mention the story's still far from the level of quality I'm aiming to achieve. I'll rewrite it and re-plan it at least 2 more times.
So I made myself a crazy deadline in my New Year's resolution: Finishing the first draft before February 16th, so I can actually find a way to start the comic by the end of the year. For that, I'll stay away from the internet for a few days, so I can fully focus on what I'm doing.
However, I won't stop posting on Patreon at all!
I have quite a few surprises scheduled for you, and will post regularly every 2 days. I'll let you guys know as soon as I'm officially back!
