I'm late on this but I like style 2! It's more professional looking and pleasing in my opinion.

2017-09-07 12:54:39 +0000 UTCI like the clean lineart in this one. It separates the characters from the background and puts more focus on them. On the other test page the more paint like style of the lines, harmonizes very well with the background and makes everything look very soft. I prefer the white borders, I feel like they give the panels more room to breathe. I guess it depends on what feeling and atmosphere you wanna go for. I think this one got more contrast and looks more dynamic, while the other looks very harmonic and makes every panel look more like a complete illustration on it's own.

2017-04-18 13:22:54 +0000 UTCThe white looks good for this one scene, but if there can only be one style, I'd go for black because the panel edges are sharper and just work with your drawing style
