Thinking about this full time.
Added 2021-12-14 16:46:00 +0000 UTCOk so this won't be the full breakdown but I wanted to just test the waters a bit.
Since my girlfriend doesn't think I'm a complete freak for making this art (she's an artist herself so it helps lol) I was thinking of just finally doing this full time.
I would have to change things a bit to ensure I had the income I needed but I want to know your initial thoughts. Would you all be able to stomach a base cost increase if I was then able to make more posts per month. Possibly even my old ability of full comic releases per post?
Essentially I would need to somehow ensure the monthly support wouldn't fall out from under my feet. If I could do that, it could really change things!

It depends on how much the base increase would be. I'd love to keep supporting you because your work is amazing, but I have limits on what I can afford.

2021-12-16 06:31:19 +0000 UTCI mean you're not wrong about the potential burnout. I have a feeling though that the daily routine of drawing for a living will be better than doing something I don't want to for a living.

2021-12-15 22:54:33 +0000 UTCI would LOVE to see more of your work. However, I would just like to add a word of caution that doing something as a hobby and a main source of income are two different things. I'd hate for you to get burned out

2021-12-15 19:39:24 +0000 UTCHell yeah!! I'd be willing to pay a lot more to see more regular stuff from your awesome pen and wickedly fun mind
2021-12-15 10:36:45 +0000 UTCAlways willing to support an artist wanting to take the plunge!

2021-12-15 04:14:09 +0000 UTCI am 100% for a increase in cost if it means more content.

2021-12-15 01:35:59 +0000 UTCIf you don't think it will burn you out, I'm fairly confident the extra content will balance out or better over the cost. Either way, I'll stick with ya.

2021-12-15 00:55:21 +0000 UTCThank you for that feedback and I will take that into consideration. I haven't decided on a new base cost yet. I'll try to make the balance of the tiers scale to the increase of work.

2021-12-15 00:45:07 +0000 UTCI completely agree. The base price change for colored comics is still up in the air. It wouldn't be 20 for the base but just like now 20 would be an option. However the 20 will grant you more ideally instead of just access to my Library. I think that's the overall goal of the whole thing anyway, to give a lot more pages per month for the price. And to get all the ideas I have into comics I know everyone and myself have been dying to see come to life

2021-12-15 00:43:02 +0000 UTCI'm planning it out, and thank you!

2021-12-15 00:40:23 +0000 UTCYo have to make yor decision based on your interests. But you have to consider that some of us, in spite of being loyal, have some limited budget for this matter. I personnaly Im fine with 10 per month.
2021-12-14 23:38:22 +0000 UTCYou should decide what you believe will help you best. That being said I'm your $20mon which is on the high end for Patreon, I wouldn't push it much higher. It may help to let your followers know what you need to bring in to being doing this full time, and above all: make it worth it. The cost should equal a good amount of material to justify more than a month's worth membership, a reason to keep supporting you.

2021-12-14 22:47:23 +0000 UTCGo for it

2021-12-14 22:11:04 +0000 UTCIt would be cool with me!
2021-12-14 20:58:41 +0000 UTCDo what suits you best! Definitely love the idea of you going full time and a price increase isn’t a bad idea but reasonable of course. You already know I’d be happy about this and so would a lot of others for sure!!!!
2021-12-14 19:16:20 +0000 UTCBeen following you for years mate and that won't change mate. Till the end
2021-12-14 19:04:25 +0000 UTCI remember when another artist I support went full-time doing vore-art and yes, the first few months were a transition, but it worked out great for them. I think if this is something you want to do, you should do it. Better to try and see than to not try and forever regret not doing so. I'd pay more, for sure.

2021-12-14 18:00:10 +0000 UTCHell yeah! You got our support boss!
2021-12-14 17:29:17 +0000 UTCPersonally I’d be more then willing to pay more for extra content but like everyone else said I’d just make you keep burn out in mind when making the transition.
2021-12-14 17:21:45 +0000 UTCWhile I think a base increase wouldn't hurt too bad, maybe also consider advertising a bit on ekas or reddit, help build up the income even more?
2021-12-14 17:14:23 +0000 UTCFor your own sake, do the transformation to full time steady and one step at the time. I remember your previous burnouts, so you shouldn’t burden yourself
Martin Dan Rasmussen
2021-12-14 17:05:38 +0000 UTCI'd be willing to increase a bit - Not sure how much you'd be thinking, I'm only paying $14 atm with what Patreon adds on so that's only £9 GBP, all depends on what you consider the base price.
2021-12-14 17:00:17 +0000 UTCI’m all for it as long as it makes you happy and you don’t get burned out :)

2021-12-14 16:56:57 +0000 UTCAbsolutely!! Been a big fan of your art for years and I’m sure most of us here would love to see your full potential here, even if it means a slight cost increase. I say go for it!
