Like the Hive? Then you'll like Personalias, the writer of the game! Check out his work here : https://subscribestar.adult/personalias or here : https://www.deviantart.com/personalias Play the latest demo here : https://pieceofsoap.fanbox.cc/posts/8725342 Game reports are back! I spent a lot of time polishing the game during the break, and since I'm back, I'm mainly playtesting and making sure everything is tight. It's cool to see everything finally come together, but my god, it sure takes a lot of testing. Firstly, the posters from Vaabs are integrated into Dr. Lang's office; you can check them out at the beginning of the game. (Screenshot 1) Thanks to the help of ButterflyBriolette, who helps with the coding of the game, there are some small touchups to the save system. A new button for creating a new save (the Enter key is disabled) and a sound effect to go with it have been added. Also, when a new save is made, the screen now takes you back to the previous save screen. (Screenshot 2) The option to skip through dialogues, even if you haven’t played through them, is now in place. This is going to save a lot of people a lot of time! I also removed some key shortcuts (right-click, middle scroll, etc.) that were causing weird behavior in the game. The "end of day" panel is now integrated and will be a recurring feature every time June goes to bed. (Screenshot 5) I also added some small changes to prior days. For example, while checking items with the pacifier on day one, June no longer acts like she doesn’t have the pacifier. I also made some small tweaks to lines when June checks items at the shop. Plus, I’ve added some missing sound effects and fixed a few graphic problems when checking certain items. This took a long time to playtest since changing files or pathways can end up messing up other parts of the game. (Screenshot 6 as an example) The puzzle from day one! The first minigame is now functional, thanks to the help of the amazing ButterflyBriolette! Super happy with the result! (Screenshots 3 and 4) Backgrounds (for this part) are (mostly) done as the characters have been integrated into them. (Screenshots 7, 8, 9, and 10) The close-ups are also in the game, and I modified the backgrounds to match the new designs, like the electrical box at the gates. These close-ups gave me quite a hard time because I tried a new method to integrate screens that didn’t pan out and had to correct everything screen by screen afterward. There's also a new close-up of the door in the computer room. (Screenshots 11, 12, and 13) Also, two new interactions with bots! (Screenshot 14) And some new dialogues when June interacts again with Nana, Cosset, or Sharpe after talking to them for the first time while wearing a diaper. (Screenshot 15) In Melrose’s living room, I’ve finally added the frames, and you can check them out. Melrose's methods seem... a bit humiliating! (Screenshot 16) If June refuses help when she needs to go potty too many times, another accident happens, and you can get a little scene at Ms. Sato's house. (Screenshot 17) I've reworked the digicode, and it took longer than expected because of a weird bug. Basically, when you completed the first digicode, it caused the second one to break, but it’s all sorted now. (Screenshot 18) There’s also a new scene in the evening if June has a full reset point. Should be a fun ride! (Screenshots 19 and 20) A fun ride that will result in a choice leading to two different outcomes, with two different placeholder pictures. (Screenshots 21 and 22) And to end it beautifully, there's a little series of lovely sketches made by Vaabs for posters or other in-game elements! And that’s all for this week! Next week will be the release of the new demo if everything goes well!
