Oh no a massive creature has invaded the ship and started attaching itself to any living creature on the ship. Side effects have started to appear on contaminated indivuals causing unusual symptoms and loud stomach noises. One can be heard in a locked room were an alien was last seen. As time went on loud creaking and stretching sounds seem to eminate across the ship and everyone wonders whats happening.

If the contiminated subject is left alone for too long without any help, eventually the pathogen will incubate for too long and outgrow its subject to the point of exploding out of their bodies. Leaving behind a huge wave of messy slime which will spawn more of the creatures.
