Jokes aside, I want to apologize once again for the long hiatus.
I thought I would be able to be back before the end of this year, but I don't think I'm going to make it, for a few reasons. I'm not sure you would care much for more excuses and long detailed posts, so I'm going to keep it brief this time :
I will be back for sure.
I'm currently struggling between IRL and the fact I keep looking back at my past work and hating it. I'm still working on improving, but I just can't seem to be content with it. During the hiatus I've been doing everything I can to up the quality of my work : Things like upgrading my models, researching and teaching myself new animation and rendering techniques, etc.
So rest assured I'm not done yet. I just need the extra time to make things right.
I'm sorry ... I know this is probably underwhelming for you. I'm really thankful for anybody who stills supports me by staying subbed and I'm grateful for your patience. I wish I could at least post some work, even WIP, to keep you entertained in the mean time as I've been working on short animations, both for practicing and testing new stuff. But none of it looks good enough to be posted here in my view. It rarely even reaches the rendering stage.
Hm, actually there's one small unfinished piece I think isn't too bad. Please have this one as a freebie for now (htm8456.mp4). I know it's not much and I'm sorry. But hopefully you can see that I'm still going at it.
Next time I post will be to announce my return, and when that happens, I promise it will be once again time to get naughty.

Yes, there is a perfectionist in you who's causing the self-hate towards older works which you now can see you could do better. That's improvement! You are seeing flaws which you likely never saw before and now you KNOW you can do better. And that, too, is admirable and shows us that the wait will be worth it. No matter how long the hiatus, we have something amazing to look forward to if and when you come back. Take your time, work on yourself and do whatever brings you happiness. We'll be here!

I understand no-one is ever as critical as we are on ourselves, but R34 has the luxury of being so oversaturated with artists, it's clear when an artist has talent, to those that don't/don't have much of a standard. All artist start somewhere and no-one makes top-tier Pixar like animations straight away and takes years to hone their craft. I'm not sure how long you've been doing this, but from the day I found your first published works at least, it was clear the quality was much better than most and when it comes to DOA content, I'd say only Spizzy and FluffyPokemon were those that also did it to a similiar standard. From what I gather from the times we've interacted, you definitely have care and true passion for your works and an eye for detail 99% of artists don't have. Not sure what is happening IRL, but health and mental health should take precedent, but also try not to be too hard on yourself. I know it's easier said than done, but take each bit of animation as something to learn from rather than feeling like you're not learning anything because of the critique you're giving yourself. Edit: just checked the WIP of Hitomi and I can assure you, that short video is already better than many, many handjob videos that float around on the R34 sites.

Now about the "you hating your past work" part, I can't speak for everyone, but although improving the quality of your work is most appreciated, I don't think your previous pieces were nearly as bad as you think, quite the contrary! Only few other DOA artist can compete with your work as is. If anything, I think the quantity part is the one that needs improvement. Having said that, I don't mean to put any more pressure on you, just a fan's humble opinion. I checked out your freebie piece and I can't tell for sure because the video is too grainy, but it seems that Hitomi's nipples/areolas look different ? I mean, those are some of the areas I wish looked more realistic, but hey! We don't want Renzuki to disappear for another year now, do we ? xd
