WEEKLY UPDATE!!!
Added 2020-09-10 04:59:15 +0000 UTC-Hi everyone just keeping you all up to date on what is going on with the upcoming vids.
-THE HOLD 3 is going well. I'm currently working on the second half of the vid. There are still things that are being changed the more and more I work on it. The transition poses are what is.... holding up this vid. The character models do not like it when they turn around 180. I have to add a keyframe for every inch of movement if I want the characters to turn around from their original position.
-NEW VID DETAILS
-EDITING TECHNIQUES
-Currently, I am trying out some new editing techniques that I learned in a textbook. I'm using adobe again, so I could work with the editor, to add simple motions to static shots to make the vid look more realistic. Things like using the scale and transform functions to zoom in and slightly move the camera around for a slight bobble effect. I'm still not entirely sure I like it but it does add something to the shots. I'll keep testing it while I work.
-NEW CHARACTER DETAILS
-I added some more details on the male characters in the vid. I felt like they were really boring compared to the monsters in my other vids. I'm currently making tattoos and maybe some HOLD brandings to them for the vid. I'm thinking something along the lines of a small brand like in Berserk with the Brand of Sacrifice.
-OTHER VID INFO
-I'm currently getting a short vid together to test out a voice over. There are dialogue helpers in the game that I want to get a grasp on before I attempt a long video with multiple VA's. Right now I'm looking into making "IN THE DARKENESS: The Forest" or "THE WITCH".

-Like I said earlier I'm testing out new editing techniques. I made two videos with the different techniques. The first vid is without the "bobbing technique" and the second is with. Check out the vids below.

2020-09-15 06:32:38 +0000 UTCThis is a major reason why I'm excited about working with some voice actors. I will be able to expand on the characters a lot more than what I'm currently able to. One example is my series THE ROOM. There are some characters that I want to add in that I would want to have a lot of crazy/mind-bending dialogue for. The twist that I put in the vid didn't really register with a lot of people because it was all in-text IMO. I wanted to convey that the second character on the screen was her alternate personality and having the two characters have the same VA would have been a great way to add in some foreshadowing.

I gotta check out the videos when I have the time this weekend, but what do you think about a video involving some crazy, unholy ritual?

No I was hoping to do so but The sound effects for the slaps are sampled from a old "professor spanks bad student vid" The voices are from a asmr ball gagged vid. I have to cut up and resample the clips in order to get rid of noise as well as time the moans to the slaps. Once that is done I add reverb to get it a sense of volume/room echo.
