November Status Update

Hey everyone! Some general updates on what's up this month!

The Seeds: A Mini Story books should finally arrive near the end of November. If you missed the Kickstarter, never fear - we'll have the books in the shop later, and I'll be making a post about it here to let everyone know.

Well, that kept me super busy. I can't believe the books are finally going to be here... it's exciting! But it was also extremely time-consuming. I wasn't able to get much of the Jupet story done during the time I had to work on getting the book ready, which pained me greatly. And then we messed up part 1 of "Curiosity Killed the Rat", rendering many hours of work useless, so that was a little frustrating as a hurdle to get past. Lesson learned, I guess!

Well, get past it we did, as I have a lot of stuff nearing completion for everyone this upcoming 4ish updates. I was gonna do one big update, but then I realized it could easily be split up into 4 and keep a theme I'm trying to do. So, 4 video updates coming up next week and the Monday after that. I want to give enough attention to each piece, attention it deserves. This means each of the updates should be an easily-digestible 3ish or more minutes long, and not some 15-20 minute monolith to get past. (Though, no guarantees on the final part of Try, Try Again! It will probably be pretty lengthy when I do get to start it.)

I really miss the more frequent main story updates, but I just had so much other stuff to do. To rectify this a little, I'm going to be putting full attention on Try, Try Again until it's done, which might mean This Means WAR will be on pause for a little bit. I have a kind of story I want to tell with Casca's Journals (the Althar entries) so those might be what happen in the interim, or maybe I'll do something else. We'll see. I just need some less time-consuming middle updates in between the VNs and video updates. All in all, I wish I had a clone.

Anyway, I ran a, uh, I ran a body pillow poll last month and Beleth and Andre won out. I was not surprised, but at the same time, a little surprised. So, I'll probably be designing those two, though it might be for a Kickstarter campaign early next year - I want to print Itchy Itchy and Broken Toy. So.......... Yeah.

ANYWAY! That's that! I'll try to make some general "what I'm up to" posts each month, since I like keeping everyone updated on how much I'm always scrabbling to get things done. There's a loooot of stuff I'm always doing, but sometimes it's not stuff that I can post or that would even be postable, so it sucks a little to try to convey that. But yeah! Very busy!
