Tough Episode to swallow with the kids stealing and the punishment. But it is a good lesson on how some people can't handle violence like others and want to be more civil but in the times of vikings that is a pipe dream. Einar and Thorfinn are growing up and it's a joy to see and it is a side by side comparison of people who have nothing and are slaves working hard and living a life they can move forward. And the other is the kids and their family were in-debt by their father and so they resort to stealing and live a life of fear and hunger of survival. Very awesome similarities and comparisons to be had with this episode. Yeah the scene at the end which is tough that Arnheid is a sex slave pretty much and seemingly how much he is attracted to her, Einar and Thorfinns previous conversation in the episode about freedom pretty much gets answered here or the doubt of the answer since it is commonplace that sex slaves/mistresses like her typically don't see freedom unless the master dies or finds it in his heart to release them, although that is highly unlikely if his mental state revolves around her to keep him sane. Very good episode to tackle this and very good episode to set up the rest of developments.
