Shadow is just a beast he can burden it all and it will matter not to him because you cannot stop him, you either join him or end up dead, or fall in love with him that's an option also lol. 9 episodes for the 1st volume that's some pretty solid pacing it's not rushing or too slow I feel like it is just right. I wouldn't even call him father he is trash he was a phony who was only power-hungry and took advantage of this girl and her mother.

2023-05-28 03:45:58 +0000 UTCYeah this episode was super good and I believe this was the end or near the end of Volume 1 of the light novels. Which is pretty insane cause most anime go through like 3 or 4 volumes of light novels in one 12 or so episode series and we are only on episode 9. Also I believe the Father realized it was Cid at the end when he was killed because he says "You.." and you get a clear view of Cid's face and he isn't Shadow at that moment cause his face structure isn't Shadow's and it was Cid's. Shadow is taking on all the guilt and he doesn't care cause it doesn't matter is such a fire line Shadow says. Also we got more Peak on the way my guy! You'll get a ton of awesome moments in the next arcs.
