Yeah I almost didn't get into Kaguya in the first episode until someone said it gets better and less super weird pacing wise and I did and it's honestly in my top 3 Romcom for sure. And yes Kaguya and Oshi no ko were made by the same author. And the time line is that in Kaguya we are probably 7 or so years after Ai's death cause it's 2017 or something in Kaguya when it was made, and I think Oshi no ko the twins went to school in 2020 or 2021 I believe. Not exactly sure but Kaguya and Shirogane were like 10 or 12 when The twins were born. Fun fact, the Author Akasaka-Sensei, has started another manga that is also set in the same universe with them as well. Pretty awesome world building he's doing.

2023-05-15 05:52:08 +0000 UTCI will say man, this is probably in my top 3 romcom anime of all time and I am glad you are watching it. Season 3 is just one of the best seasons for characters alone. Not to mention the movie that finally got publicly released last month was also peak as well. I can't wait for season 4 but in the mean time I am actually reading the manga for Kaguya before reading Oshi no Ko since they both are in the same universe so I am looking forward to it.
