New Story - Character Poll (#9): Winter Theme

Happy New Year! I'm here with another poll :)

I started working on the next chapter of Harry's Perfect Summer recently. However, I found it felt a bit weird to be writing about a summer story in the middle of the winter. I know it's a favourite, but I would prefer to write something closer to the current season (apologies to those in the southern hemisphere!), and rather pick up on the story once we head for warmer times. Hope you understand!

In that vein, I have a couple of ideas I have been stewing on over the break:

Harry's Winter Wonderland

Harry invites his friends at Hogwarts to celebrate the holidays with him at a cabin deep in the snow-covered mountains. The trip takes a turn for the unexpected when Harry learns that only the hottest witches in school have taken him up on his offer! Will Harry survive the New Year celebrations surrounded by naughty witches insistent on helping him "relax"? (he won't)

• Romilda, Ginny, Hermione, Daphne, Tracey, Luna, Lily Moon, Susan, Hannah

• (Some of these characters will naturally take a backseat, while some will feature more prominently. Leave a comment on which you would prefer to see more of, or which you don't care much for, and I'll take that into consideration!)

Bound to Bellatrix

In a moment of carelessness, Harry gets captured by Voldemort's forces during the war and is locked up at Malfoy Manor. Unwilling to enter Harry's mind himself, Voldemort orders an unhinged Bellatrix Lestrange to extract all the information she can from him about the Order and its plans, whatever it may take. And Bellatrix knows exactly how to make Harry talk!

Unknowing of what goes on behind closed doors, Narcissa Malfoy can't help but feel sorry for the poor man and decides the least she could do is to give Harry a helping hand on New Year's Eve. If only she knew the consequences of her seemingly innocent actions!

Since I want to get the first chapter of whatever story you decide on out as soon as possible, I am only leaving a two-day deadline on this poll :) I'll try to have the poll out a bit earlier next time, but I decided to take a bit of a break over the holidays to recharge and spend some time with family.

That said, hope you had a fantastic holiday! I'm ready to write more and better than ever in 2025 :)
