The slow announcement of new Smash Bros kharacters generates some of the highest levels of hype in the gaming news sphere to the point where only a newly announced Half-Life game kould match it. Not even Pokemon gets this klose to the levels of hype. And when the King showed up the hyp reached peak kritical mass. It also helps that the Smash Ultimate version of Gangplank Galleon is an absolute banger of a track. Oh, and Kiddy Kong is the kid that Dixie Kong was babysitting, so instead of taking kare of and protecting a baby she took him along on a quest to save her boyfriend. Not winning any points here, Dixie. Also a good kall to stop it here if you're planning on playing Bananza, whose ending was VERY well received by kong-time fans of the series.
