Sure, eveybody talks big about tournament rules and regulations for good conduct until John Daly rolls in. Personally, I know the Tier 0 format as "the kind of deck that can only be regularly beaten by itself", where Tier 1 decks can only be beaten by themselves and each other, with things slowly going down the line. So back when Performapals was king only other Performapal decks could beat it, it was a Tier 0 deck. You'd just end up seeing it the most because, you know, it's the best deck. I only ever played the game for the fun of it and not for tournament fame. I have a semi-decent Monarchs deck laying around, which is all about tribute summoning its bigger monsters and shutting down the opponent's extra deck. I also have a fondness for the Dinomist archetype, which is steam-powered robot dinosaurs which makes it hella rad. As for the Yugioh video games, there's also Legacy of the Duelist, which is currently on sale on Steam. It's a VERY bare bones version of the stories of the first six anime, the decklist is from April 2020-ish and it's no longer maintained, but if you want to play Yugioh solo without having to deal with the online megasweats and want to pay once and be done with it it's a fair way to play. It's also a one time purchase with no in-game microtransactions, so if there's a card you want you can unlock it from the appropriate boosters you can buy with the solely in-game obtained money. Unless of course you have a save editor and give yourself a large sum of money, but I digress. While the upside is that there's a lot of game to be found here, the menus and deckbuilding are kinda ass, while you can choose which opponent you play against you cannot create your own decks to duel, and don't expect to find a lot of online players. There's also allegedly some mods to give you more cards, but I don't know a lot about that. So it's a good addendium to Duel Links and Master Duels if you want to play (on top of the online, not entirely sanctioned ways). There's also a whole collection of older Yugioh games currently on sale on Steam, but those are mostly for the nostalgia and how the game was back then.
