Ha, Name a better duo:
Zelda game and hating the water temple lol
As far as I understand, Twilight Princess took a LOT from Ocarina of Time. Seems they also decided to make the water temple similar as well

Ah yes, Call of Cthulhu. Or rather, The Shadow over Innsmouth meets The Shadow Out of Time. The C-man himself doesn't even show up properly. Which is not a bad thing, since all the big lads from the mythos are not to be used like that. They're things so far above us, it is like trying to explain a combustion engine to an ant. But no, this also has to be a game with combat, so you get a shotgun and get to blast away at Dagon. You also get that oh-so-fun sanity meter that makes you drunk the higher it goes. Ever heard of liquid courage? Get ready for liquid FEAR.
The healing system is indeed a bit wonky, and it looks like the system in Metal Gear Solid 3. But there you could properly pauze and heal up... but MGS3 is also a full stealth game where the intended way to play is being fully unseen. So when you're healing up there you're doing it wrong. Come to think of it, in that game you're also not supposed to use your arsenal against your enemies since sneaking around is your best option... and you are graded at the end of the game... huh. Makes you think.
The whole BEAR BULL BEAR BULL thing from New Vegas becomes a lot funnier if you know a thing or two about the stock market, where a bull market is a positive, upwards market while a bear market is a negative, downwards market. Is this a metaphor for how the NCR and Legion will affect the Mojave if they take over? Nah, probably not since the bear is on the current flag of California anyway and the bull has been a symbol of Rome since... well, Rome.
And if you think the Twilight Princess Water Temple is bad, you are LUCKY you haven't played the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask ones.
