And such is the tale of how Otto Octavius became the Superior Spider-Man. Not bad for a man who looks like a 50% goofier Elton John. Honestly I don't know a lot about this run aside from that one time he sent his suit off to fight crime. Yes, just the empty suit being quite flat since it's, you know, an empty suit. Imagine you're a supervillain and you get folded by another man's laundry, couldn't be me.
As for the endings... well, a lot of things can change based on the ending. Sometimes it's bad, sometimes it's good. I know people have Opinions(TM) on how Attack on Titan ended. I didn't mind it all that much (the big change in the middle must've filtered a LOT of people already), but I get where they were coming from. At least we got goth Mikasa from it at the end. But as for controversial endings there's big stuff like the Star Wars sequels and Game of Thrones, but few were so big that the creators ended up changing how it all ended. Back in 2012 we saw this with Mass Effect, and... well, to be honest I was not impressed with how the thing ended either. At least the final DLC gave fans some much needed closure. Sure, there's the three episode rule to try and avoid stuff that's trash all the way through, but there's also stuff that has a solid three episode start followed by an absolute dogwater 4th episode. You know, stuff like Gurren Lagann. Look back at how episode 4 looks, you'll notice it very quickly.
And for letting the fame and money change you, forgetting where you came from, switching up on your day 1s and ignoring your loved ones, the best would be to make the apology video right now and just refer to it whenever you're being a douche, mistreat your peeps, let it all get to your head, "accidentally" throw an animal into a woodchipper or are outed as a Minecraft-tier diddler.
