I think we actually saw the panel of not wanting to cure cancer, but turn people into dinosaurs before. Might have been the cosmology video. Regardless, more dinosaurs is always a good thing.

Xero Degrees

After Stan Lee moved away from the early Spider-Man stuff, one of the big authors to pick up after him was Gerry Conway. A prodigy who started writing for the big two at only 16, he ended up creating characters like Tombstone and the Punisher (who started in Spidey's books, much like how Wolverine was first seen in the Hulk's books), for DC he created characters such as Vixen, Firestorm, Power Girl and even Jason Todd. But for Marvel by far his biggest claim to fame was killing off Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn... at age 19. That's right, Gerry Conway was stacking bodies before he could legally drink. While Gwen's death mostly stuck (there's some weird stuff going on with Spider-Gwen) and Norman remained dead for a good two decades, the big outlier in comic book deaths is Uncle Ben. Even though his death was more or less glossed over in his initial appearance, he has become the most notable exception of deaths in superhero comics where the dead stay dead. Even Batman's parents have come back more than him. This had reached the point where between the mid-80s to the mid-2000s where there was a saying that "in comics nobody stays dead except Uncle Ben, Bucky Barnes and Jason Todd". Sure, Bucky and Jason came back in the mid-2000s within like 12 months of one another (with Bucky making mainstream appeal in the MCU movies and Jason being a big part of the current day Bat-Mythos), but Uncle Ben is and stays dead in any meaningful way. Only in poignant scenes (where Dr. Strange gives Spidey a five minute conversation with Uncle Ben) or in alternate timelines (the current Ultimate run) does this differ. And Spidey has a lot of fun villains. Sure there's the core, but he has several dinosaur themed ones. Like the guy here who uses a raygun to bring fossils back to life, but there's also Sauron (yes, named after THAT Sauron by the guy's own admission) who became famous for the meme "But I don't want to cure cancer, I want to turn people into dinosaurs!". Plus, any fight where we get to see a dude fistfighting dinosaurs is a good time. Too bad we will likely never see him on the big screen. And Big Wheel of course, since seeing Spidey go up against a Skaven Doomwheel is awesome.
