2025-07-19 16:16:45 +0000 UTCAh, Fatal Fury. I think I played this on an emulator back in the day, but I never really vibed with it unlike Street Fighter and later Soul Calibur. SC is one of those franchises that have these big stories with dozens of characters and tackles such grand themes as revenge, redemption, faith, responsibility, patriotism, one's place in an ever-changing world... only for the games to, you know, kinda forget telling the story outside of some text boxes. Geese Howard seems like a really fun villain. I would not be surprised if at one point he became aware that his defeat always involved him falling from a tower so he instead set up his new base in a large single-floor Japanese style mansion or in a bunker, only for circumstances (likely involving the big guy's helicopter) to put him at the top of a tower along with Terry, and nature taking its course from there. As for the Pretzel Movement Special, I did not know the term but I did suspect I knew what it referred to. So I entered the term and only got images of pretzels... except the first image was of Geese's grinning mug with some button combos. I mean, who in their right mind would press 63214632143P as a combo?
