Mandalore helping Sean Astin defend his gamer cred from Elijah "The Guy" Wood's slander is not something you'd expect, yet here we are. But yes, this game was pretty fun if rather straightforward in its combat. This ain't now Shadow of Mordor. What it is however is the equivalent of one of those recent Lego games: simple combat, fixed camera and it's best when played with a friend. And it's by the Dead Space people, so they have experience with making creepy stuff. Also the movie is Dragonfyre, a Syfy original (so you know it's absolute bootycheeks) but it does have orcs getting gunned down. AFAIK there is currently no game like this, at least until Kingmakers releases this October, which isekais a dude back in time to the Glyndwr Rebellion in 15th century England where you can partake in battles in the late middle ages wielding various guns, explosive weapons and ramming modern vehicles into armored knights. Ever wanted to shoot a castle with a Leopard 2 tank? That's what Kingmakers is for.
