My favorite in this genre is Sacrifice, a third-person RTS RPG where you play as a wizard, slinging spells and summoning monsters facing off against other wizards at the behest of petty gods, one of which is voiced by Tim Curry. One of the game's mightiest spells throws a large cow at the enemy, which insta-gibs whatever it hits. Yes, it's one of THOSE kinds of games. Mandalore made a video on Sacrifice as well.
