Highly recommend you read the Demon Days Saga. Trust me, after reading it you'd wish it was an ongoing instead of a mini. I mean it was so good it even got a Creator's Cut and a sequel soon after, Marvel rarely ever does that. Wont spoil anything but Peach Momoko's rise at Marvel has been amazing to see coming from someone who's followed her ever since she won that Eisner Award for Best Cover on her FIRST EVER Marvel piece.
Also, im sure Cerby's aware but Peach is also writing stuff for the new Ultimate universe which has been a hit so far and oh BTW she also introduced a NEW Psylocke that isnt Sai, Betsy or Kwannon (technically) but instead Kanon. So "technically" Peach Momoko has introduced 2 new Psylocke's in marvel canon in less than 5 years. The reason why I say "technically" is because she's basically a variant of 616 Kwannon but in the new Ultimate universe, and to blow your mind even further Kanon is also a descendent of the Ultimate universe's version of Sai "technically" tying both Psylocke's to this new Psylocke. ๐ Sorry if I confused the heck out of you but once you get it, its easy to follow.
In the meantime a youtuber called GIQUE covered the the Demon Days Saga in good detail even referencing which character each one is based on from their 616 counterpart, its called "What is the Demon Days Saga? Who is Psylocke? ๐น | Marvel Rivals". Not the typical Comic review type video you guys react to but having read the story, the video covers it really well.
FYI The Demon Says sequel miniseries is called Demon Wars set in the same universe several years after the events of the original, its good but not as good as the original imho (the original is just that good).

Gotta love it when comics create new characters out of the blue over misunderstandings. I'm more of a DC fan, but then pulled that stunt when a writer didn't get that the Wonder Girl who appeared in some of the Wonder Woman runs that focussed on Wondy's family was actually a younger version of Wonder Woman, so this younger self was now Donna Troy, a girl that was rescued from a building fire by Wonder Woman, and with no apparent blood relatives was taken in by the Amazons. One zap of the Amazons' favorite do-anything plot device, the Purple Ray, and she had powers on par with Wonder Woman.
Of course this is when things stopped being simple and retcon after retcon, crisis after crisis, murder after multiverse, Donna Troy is now in the running for having one of the most complex backstories in all of comics. At least she's not Hawkman I guess.

Looked up some more info about him, and turns out he actually hired some Japanese dude to make in person appearances for him until he got exposed. That just feels wrong. The fact that he basically faced no repercussions for it is baffling.

Okay, there is also another reason as to why they changed her back... The new Editor in Chief CB Cebulski also pretended to be Japanese Writer in the 2000s as a "Mangaka from Japan" when Marvel was trying to get talent from Japan.... and named himself Akira Yoshida and published "Japanese Inspired Comics" and that shit got out and you guess who is a white woman who is wearing Asian Skin...
