There’s too many things I want to talk about but I’ll boil it down to just a few and then maybe at some point say some of the others.
The first thing is there’s like a 45 second video called “Sol ending vs Ragna ending” that you could both watch on your own time and always hits me in the feels because the whole ending bit of the CF story mode was done so well in my opinion.
Secondly, Blazblue has already been a franchise where characters’ moves/playstyles go through pretty significant changes from game to game (not to mention bbtag and strive which play completely differently from mainline Blazblue and GGXrd respectively) so it would not bother me at all if they did that for a new mainline Blazblue game because I just love the characters that they do have that much. There is a video that I’m forgetting the name of but had to do with how much they changed Nu 13 gameplay wise throughout the series so once again maybe another thing that you can watch on your own time if you want but it’s not a must watch by any means, moreso just a thing that I’d recommend if you do already like watching that style of video where they go game by game explaining in fighting game terms things that were added, removed, or just all around changed.
Third and last for now has to do with each of your favorite characters. For Xero, Nine is probably everything you’ll ever want from a character of her type but unfortunately you do have to do more scouring around to really get an idea of her personality because in the main story she’s busy doing what she’s gotta do and since she was only playable until CF, she doesn’t have multiple gag reels and such that most of the other characters have to flesh them out. Ironically in bbtag you get a good bit more interactions with her although it’s technically not canon but for example, there’s a chapter in the bbtag 2.0 story mode that is all about her and her love for Jubei and it’s both not what you would expect for a character like her and exactly what you would expect for a character like her. For Cerby, I already mentioned that Arakune is the hardest character to learn so rip but also he’s usually muttering nonsense or screeching nonsense with no in between so that hopefully adds to your enjoyment of him. Also I don’t know how hard you plan to go in seeing the story for yourselves so I won’t spoil anything but just know that Arakune’s “conclusion” to his story is funny in a way that it’s not supposed to be but that makes it even funnier even if he is technically screwing over Litchi in it.
