2024-11-04 13:06:45 +0000 UTCThe "Clouseau" part of the Inquisitor's name is a reference to Inspector Clouseau of The Pink Panther fame. The series, not the cartoon pink panther mind you. As for the weird clown lady, that's Lady Malys. She used to be part of Asdrubael Vect's court, but because she was too ambitious and skilled she was exiled. Finding herself in the Webway she encountered a strange creature that challenged her to a contest of wills: whoever win would get the loser's heart. Lady Malys won and the creature disappeared, leaving its crystal heart... and a knife. The delirious Malys decided to cut her own heart out and replaced it with the crystal heart, which not only worked but gave her the drive to form a cabal of her own in an attempt to overthrow Vect. Hysterical laugher is often heared coming from her quarters, with the sound of two voices. So yes, she did have an encounter with the Bazinga god and got a bootst from it for reasons unknown to anyone but the clown himself. But thanks, I'll try next time that I'm haunted to scare the ghost away with cringe by hitting the griddy as hard as I can.
