in the manga this episode happens after white day (the day a month after valentines) so anime wise Amewarashi appears 20 chapters or so earlier than the manga. in the manga this chapter also has a reference to the sister series where yuko complains how the MC from Tsubasa reseviore crhonicles didnt give her a gift for white day, so watanuki make her sweets to cheer up. While in Tsubasa the MC is busy fighting for his life and will later give a apology gift.
