My First Look At Deep Rock Galactic | Sseth Reaction

My First Look At Deep Rock Galactic | Sseth Reaction

Aside from Deep Rock Galactic there is also Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, an isometric spinoff a bit closer to Vampire Survivors than this game. This also means that DRG is a bit of an inverse to Helldivers, where it's the first game that's isometric and the second putting you closer to the action (except Helldivers 2 is third and not first person). As for the monetization, aside from the base cost their idea of monetization is "release a full set of models and skins for just about everything the players have access to for about $10" every six months or so, with the ultra super deluxe SSS Dante Must Die looking stuff being a regular skin pack with some extra goodies for $15, and there's only been two of those so far. And all the actual gameplay stuff is added for free regardless of what skin packs you have. So the devs are not out to nickle and dime you. And Survivor released earlier this year with only one skin pack priced at $5. And as a side note, the specs are very forgiving so even a relative potato should be able to run it.

One time during the production of season 4, they made a weapon skin pack that the community didnt like since it wasnt as good as the previous seasons, the dev team agreed, and completely remade the weapon pack as well as making the old one free

Final thing i swear lol, the devs are genuinely great, they've made a point to have as little of payed items or transaction in the game as possible. The seasons in the game are completely free and you can go back to any previous season if you missed any items, cosmetics can be unlocked through finding crates or lost items in caves, the only payed thing in the game is the deluxe edition, and optional weapon skin packs that are only a couple dollars, which is even redundant since there are plenty of weapon skins for free that you just need to find

IMO the unstables are the best because of the fun they provide

As for overclocks, there are 3 kinds of overclocks Clean: these have no downsides but dont give much as an offside (example is Pack rat for the engineers grenade launcher which gives more ammo) Balanced: can give nice increases in stats or abilities in exchange for equal downsides (example is the Compact fluid valves for flamethrower which gives more ammo and clip size for flame reach and reload time. Unstable: these will change the weapon or playstyle completely with harsh downsides to compensate (example, Fat boy for the grenade launcher which turns the grenade into a nuke in exchange for slower projectile, way less ammo, and direct damage)

So i would say that the game does have a bit of a grind at the beginning but it is a fun grind especially with friends, as for upgrades, it depends as its mainly up to the build your going for

Greeny363

Also dont worry if you ever play, This community is so nice, if you're new players will genuinely enjoy helping you, it is really a rare occurrence to have toxic people to the point that on reddit if people post about being bulled for being new, it will get thousands of upvotes with people calling the toxic players elf's and leaf lovers

Greeny363

BTW Seeth is being completely true with the community, it is genuinely one of the nicest out there, in my 228 hours of playing it, i have only encountered one toxic player, every other player was nice and used manners

Greeny363

Most beers are great in this game except for the leaf lovers, it is an elf's drink so we hate it, it will completely reset your drunkness meter to 0 so obviously it is a heinous crime against the dwarfs, the description even says that its only there to please manegment
