The reason why they are in the milky way to begin with is because during the horus heresy a loyalist Iron Warrior named Barabas Dantioch blew up a device known as the Pharos, in practice it was a mini Astronomicon which could've aided both sides of the Horus Heresy. When Barabas blew up the Pharos it made an insanely big KABOOM in the warp which drew the attention of the hive mind

The movie is called: "the human centipede 2". You can take a look if you got the stomach for it. Otherwise the Ordo Malleus of the Inquisition, always was trigger happy. Despite some employing "Daemonhost"s, even if they don't want you to know it. Daemonhost are basically demons bound into a human body and used in the fight against chaos. In the Eisenhorn books is one prominent in the story, if you are interested.
