The Aurora Borealis (the northern version of the polar lights) is a hauntingly beautiful, unpredictable, and temperamental phenomenon. Pictures can't do it justice when the entire sky is covered in wavering bands of light. In my 16 years as a security guard I've seen it on night shift a handful of times, as far south as 63.4 degrees north. When I was in the military in Bardufoss, at 69 degrees north, I saw it several times in the one year. This is the first episode when I cry on behalf of these girls who aren't even real. It's going to happen every episode from here on in. This time it's on behalf of Yuzuki who finally feels a bond with a peer.
