The Fire Ashari live in Pyrah. There's a LOT I could go over in this episode, but I'll try to keep it short. Circle of the Moon druids get access to elemental forms at level 11. Marisha Ray, Keyleth's player, deliberately held back on this as part of her character's story. By this point she had been an air elemental a few times in the game, but that wasn't covered here. Now that she has passed the trial of Fire, she is "allowed" to also take fire elemental form. At level 13, druids (and clerics, and wizards, and etc.) get access to the Plane Shift spell, which allows travel between planes. In DnD this requires a tuning fork made from a metal or other material from the target plane, but this is not required to return to your home plane. The show plays this a little differently. There are a LOT of planes, or other dimensions, in DnD. search up "map of the planes dnd" and you'll get a few different images representing the different planes. Feel free to ask if you have more questions, this is an incredibly deep topic though. The Broom of Flying was originally stolen from a guest character, a temporary ally played by someone who was invited to come play DnD with Critical Role. This was a controversial event in the fandom, many of whom felt like taking magic items from a character meant to be friendly and temporary was "cheating". In the campaign, Vex had Percy make a little stirrup frame for the broom so she didn't have to keep making rolls to stay on the broom while firing her bow.
