Life Update (pt. 2!)

Thought the surgery would happen the same day I posted here, but it got pushed back to Monday for a multitude of reasons (that's healthcare for you!). Nonetheless, it happened, and I'm happy to say, I feel so, so much better. Thanks for all the well wishes and positivity in your messages; it meant to much to me to read.
I still have some soreness and numbness, and I'm still at the hospital for the time being since I can't walk just yet, but I should be able to return home soon and finally get back to drawing (eee!!!) :) Already made some minor thumbnail sketches for future pieces, so I'll be posting one or two sketches soon! I'll also be finishing commissions in the next week or two as long as the pain is manageable. Hope you all are doing well 💕

Fortunately, the issue I was having only affected the lower half of my body, so I'm just doing quick sketches on my laptop in bed. ^^ The art might look slightly different since it's a new setup for me though, which is why I'm waiting to finish the commissions.

I know how tempting it is to get to work on something asap (specially if you have to stay at the hospital or in bed) but don't push it too much and make sure to rest for a speedy recovery. We will be cheering and waiting for your return!!
