This episode is one where I really disliked Meadow. Her lecturing her mother about having options “if you don’t expect everything handed to you” is so absurd, coming from someone who hasn’t had to be on her own.

How can you say Carmela is choosing to “break the contract” of their marriage when Tony has constantly broken his marriage vows? As to alimony, I’m only for it in cases where a husband didn’t want his wife to work outside the home (Tony), wanted a traditional marriage where his wife was never prepared for an independent life if he ended the marriage. And yes, by a moral standard, Tony ended the marriage many years ago.
