Movie Re-Request Time. John Carpenters The Thing - 1982 - Kurt Russell - Keith David - Sci-Fi/Horror - A research team in Antarctica encounter something non-human. Based on a story by sci-fi author John W Campbell , and a 1951 film , The Thing From Another World. It was considered a bomb upon release. However , over the years since , it is now considered one of Carpenter's best , and a Classic Sci-Fi movie. I know I have requested this before , but it's classic sci-fi , which I know you love. And I have yet to see a reactor not like it. So , much like Andy Dufresne requesting library funds from the State with 1 letter a week in Shawshank Redemption , I'll try the same with this movie. I do hope you will seriously consider this soon Sir : ] Peace
