NHRK Chapter 66

Naruto snickered as he was going to do something he’d hadn’t shown in battle before, and it was amusing that this was the first time he was ever going to use this jutsu, and in this context too!

‘Amenotejikara’

Kushina let out a cry of surprise as she suddenly found their positions instantaneously reversed, not unlike the teleportation she felt with the Hiraishin.

Before she could even question how Naruto managed to do it, she felt the soft contact of a pair of lips on the insides of her thigh.

She let in a sharp gasp as Naruto had found his way so close already to forbidden territory.

“N-Naruto-kun!” Kushina mewled as the sensation of his tongue both tickled and fueled the fire to her excitement.

Naruto grinned as he stared down at her soaked panties. They were already soaking wet, and practically see through from being drenched in Kushina’s love fluids.

Naruto licked his lips. “Itadakimasu.”

Kushina only had that as a warning before Naruto made contact with her panty-clad pussy, taking her clit, through the fabric into his mouth and sucking hungrily.

Her back arched as she screamed in pleasure, her legs twitched, her eyes went foggy as if looking into a far away place, her hands clutching onto the bed sheets for dear life and somehow found no purchase in it to truly hold on.

She moaned and moved her hands to a more desirable location: the back of Naruto’’s head and drew him in, as despite the intensity that spiked through her very nervous system, she wanted more, more of him, more of her s–

No. More of Naruto Hagoromo, becoming less of her son now and more of a lover. A lover incomparable to any other.

For one and a half minutes, Naruto lapped her up. That was all that it took for her to unleash a torrent of delicious fluids into his mouth, climaxing so hard that her eyes rolled to the back of her head.

The climax lasted for another minute and a half, she remained in that state, that high, whilst Naruto did not increase nor decrease the pace he’d went when she came, keeping her right at that area of ecstasy.

When she finally came back down, Naruto slowed down, blue eyes looking up and staring amusedly at her, as well as with no small amount of pride. It was as if he’d achieved his greatest task yet: giving her the greatest pleasure she could feel.

Kushina did not know whether she should be pleased that he regarded her so highly or be bemused by it. She did not know what he saw in her to look at her like she was worth more than the entire universe, but she could only let those feelings flow into her and reciprocate, for to her, he was even more than everything, he was her will to live and love itself. He was the thing that her world revolved around.

If he wanted her this way…

Who was she to deny his wishes?

The night went on like that, both pleasuring each other and reciprocating. Both drowning in love and euphoria.

Though Kushina’s panties had never left her hips, by her wish, it was the single most pleasurable night of her life, as well as the most loving, and incredible.

She…

She felt like she was falling…

She did not know how it was possible for her to love Naruto any more than she did, but it was as if something inside of her clicked. Her very spirit, her very soul was changing.

For the first time in her life, it was as if the stars aligned before her very eyes, and she was only now finding the path to her destiny.

That night, they fell asleep in each other’s arms, content, satisfied, and they both dreamt of the time where they would do this again, without restrictions, without restraint.

How long would they go for, they both wondered.

“Are you ready to go?” Jiraiya asked.

This…Naruto kid was acting strange today. He looked as if he’d won the lottery, constantly having a smile on his face, and when he tried to hide it away, it only took a few seconds for it to be found on his face again.

“Heck yeah, let’s get this done so we can return as soon as possible!” Naruto said.

Jiraiya narrowed his eyes. “You know…one would be excited to meet Tsunade of the Sannin for the first time, and if they did, they’d want to spend as much time with her as possible, whether to learn from her or to…”

Naruto waved that concern away. “Tsunade-baachan will come back with us anyway, so there’s plenty of time to spend with her back in Konoha.”

Jiraiya froze. “...I wouldn’t call her that to her face if I were you.”

Naruto rolled his eyes before finally starting their journey, not waiting for Jiraiya to follow.

“Come on Ero-sennin, the longer we delay, the later we’ll get back!” Naruto said, “It’s vulnerable right now so having two s-ranked shinobi’s out of the village isn’t great right now.”

Jiraiya stumbled on his foot as he caught the title that Naruto gave him. “Don’t call me Ero-sennin, Brat!”

Naruto glanced back at him, unimpressed, before he continued his way as if Jiraiya’s words were akin to that of a random gust of wind.

“Hey!” Jiraiya shouted after him as he followed.

Apparently Tsunade was somewhere within fire country, according to Jiraiya’s intelligence, but given that his senses now reached further than ever, it was time Naruto finally put it to good use, fine tuning it so that it focused on her presence.

It only took Naruto a couple minutes of searching the field before coming up with a direction they needed to go. It was no trouble to him, as he was already familiar with what Tsunade felt like, being close to her for so long in his old world.

Jiraiya remained quizzical throughout it all, but kept his thoughts to himself.

For some reason, despite being the senior of the two, he allowed Naruto to lead. After taking the first step ahead since the start of their journey, albeit due to his eagerness to get the mission done as soon as possible, Jiraiya let him stay ahead of the pack.

Naruto wasn’t oblivious to it, but he could understand why the Sannin would be suspicious and particularly observant.

Some kid he didn’t know showed up in the village like a mole popping up from the ground and shook things up that has been rooted down as problems in the past decades, including Danzo and his Root, Orochimaru, Akatsuki.

Naruto would explain it all to the old man later and eventually things would come to light.

For now, they both occasionally bantered, but kept focus.

For some reason, Naruto did not feel the need to be anything more to Jiraiya in this life, despite being rather close to him in his old world. Old Jiraiya was like a father figure to him, irreplaceable and…gone. New Jiraiya had his own family now, his own wives. Just like with Iruka, Naruto didn’t mind observing Jiraiya’s counterpart from a distance and be happy for him without needing to form the same relationship they had before.

“A ryo for your thoughts?” Jiraiya asked.

“Hm?” Naruto responded, pulled out of his thoughts. “Oh, I was just wondering how you’ve been doing these past years.”

He made that up on the spot.

Jiraiya raised his eyebrow. “I’ve been fine.”

“With your family I mean,” Naruto added, “It can’t be easy with your spymaster job to be home and all.”

Jiraiya shrugged. “They knew the deal when they married me, and I try to be there for them as much as I can. Though times like these…”

Instead of the sympathy that Jiraiya expected, Naruto smiled.

“Well, when I’m done with everything and Konoha is safe, you can finally take it easy. Maybe you can even hang up your head band, enjoy a nice, relaxing life without the need to distract yourself by spying on innocent women.”

Jiraiya blinked, before he bellowed out a laugh. “A nice thought, but there will always be threats to Konoha. I’ve made it my job to protect it after…”

He didn’t need to finish as Naruto nodded.

Minato.

Jiraiya had always said that the fourth was like a son to him, and with him gone, Jiraiya had always felt that it was in large, his fault for not being there for him that night.

“Hey,” Naruto said, taking Jiraiya’s attention before he was lost in regret. “I’ll show you how strong I am one day, and when you find out, you’ll be assured that you can leave Konoha’s safety to me. That’s a promise, dattebayo.”

Jiraiya almost tripped on the next branch.

This Naruto…at first Jiraiya thought the name was a coincidence, as well as the hair, the appearance, the use of hiraishin…now…

“Are you a lost relative of Minato’s?” Jiraiya bluntly asked, unable to help himself.

Naruto’s shoulders tensed and it took him a moment before he answered. “...sort of.”

Jiraiya nodded, as if expecting the answer. “Well, whoever you are, you better stay away from Kushina Uzumaki.”

Naruto’s shoulders tensed even more. “...why’s that?”

“...nothing really. That woman had relations with Minato in the past. Best to not consider her in interest of something…inappropriate.”

Naruto looked back at him, and Jiraiya was surprised to find him glaring.

“Kushina can associate with who she wants, how she wants,” Naruto simply stated. “You have no right to decide her feelings, especially after how much she suffered.”

Jiraiya paused. “...Hm.”

And that was that.

They went on, taking only two days before they reached the town of their destination.

To Naruto’s senses, Tsunade might as well be a bright beam of light amidst a corn field.

“I know where she is,” he said to Jiraiya.

“Good. I can handle our meeting with her,” Jiraiya instructed.

Naruto shook his head. “I think I’ll stay to meet her.”

Jiraiya grunted and continued forth.

Naruto sighed. For some odd reason, after their interaction about Kushina, things had gone a bit sour between them.

“Lead on old man, lead on.”

Tsunade was winning.

For the first time in a long time, luck drew in her favour and she’d actually made money instead of losing it.

That was a bad sign.

That only happened when shit was about to go down around her.

“Shizune, pack your things,” Tsunade instructed.

“Eh?” Shizune muttered, “but we’ve only just begun winning!”

Tsunade shook her head. “Now.”

Shizune froze at the tone, before nodding and did as she was told.

On the chair next to her, Tonton oinked as she sensed the tension between them.

Just as Tsunade got up to leave, her senses tingled and she scowled.

It was too late.

She turned around slowly to meet the visage of her long time friend and teammate.

Jiraiya.

Along with him was another boy, who seemed to be in his early twenties at most.

“...great,” Tsunade said.

“It’s nice to see you too, Tsunade-hime,” Jiraiya smiled.

Tsunade rolled her eyes, resisting the urge to punch him.

“Well?” She asked, “What do you want?”

Jiraiya glanced around. “What about a place to drink?”

Tsunade knew that rebuting him would be futile, as he’d simply track her down again until she heard him through.

The last time they met, Jiraiya had asked her to heal one of his spies who had critical information.

She’d let Shizune do it–her hemophobia prevented her from helping.

Luckily her assistant had succeeded.

Tsunade glanced around Jiraiya to the blond haired man. “Who’s this?”

Jiraiya shrugged. “Just a hanger on. Don’t worry about him.”

Naruto simply raised an eyebrow at that statement before he stepped forward to introduce himself. He gave a slight bow. “Naruto Hagoromo, at your service.”

Tsunade blinked. “I don’t recognise you…and as I recall, the Hagoromo clan sided with the Uchihas in the warring era, and were Senju’s enemies.”

Naruto nodded. “So it seemed. These days, both of our clans seem to be reduced down to their last people, haven't they?”

At that, Tsunade's eyes travelled downwards, thinking of the past, inevitably feeling the sting of pain of what once could have been.

It had been years now, and she’d moved on, but the pain of a lost love was not easily forgotten, nor did it ever fade. She’d just grown more resilient to it.

Tsunade nodded before walking past both he and Jiraiya, making her way to a bar. Jiraiya followed her.

Naruto was about to as well before he felt his shoulder get tapped. He turned to meet the apologetic eyes of Shizune.

“Sorry, she’d not normally do this–” She tried to say.

Naruto shook his head, interrupting her before he smiled. “I understand. You don’t need to defend her, Shizune-san.”

Shizune blinked in surprise. “You know who I am?”

Naruto smiled. “Why yes, I’ve heard that your medical skills are second to only Lady Tsunade and that you will be accompanying her as per reports before we set out on this mission. It’s an honour, Shizune-san.”

Shizune looked flustered, red tingling her cheeks as she averted her eyes. “It–It’s nothing like that. I’m not that great–”

“--I believe you are far more valuable than you realise, Shizune-san,” Naruto intercepted her, making her pause.

Her blushed deepened. “R-right. Thank you. L-let’s follow them.”

She went off, Tonton in her arms, at a quicker pace than what seemed to be normal walking speeds.

Naruto stared after her, confused at her demeanour.

…before he realised that he’d just accidently dipped into his flirting habits when he talked with women he wanted to woo.

“...Crap.”

“Haaaa?” Tsunade drawled, cheeks a bit flushed from the buzz of alcohol.

“I know,” Jiraiya nodded, chugging back another glass of Sake.

Tsunade scoffed, leaning backwards to her seat.

“After all these years, now he wants me to come home?” She commented.

“Konoha needs its strength,” Jiraiya said, another cup of sake finding its way to his lips.

“It will find nothing in me. I can’t. Not after–” Tsunade tried to say but was cut off as Naruto spoke up from the adjacent table, where he was sitting with Shizune.

“Not after your past,” Naruto finished for her, eyes hardening before giving her a look of empathy, “We know. Everyone’s lost someone over the years, but you need to heal, Tsunade-sama. We need you with us now more than ever.”

Tsunade could not meet his eyes, instead choosing to pour another drink for herself.

Naruto sighed. Seeing her like this was heartbreaking for him as the Tsunade he knew had always been strong, despite all of her flaws. When responsibility fell on her shoulders and the time came for her to take up the mantle, she stepped up and answered the call.

In this world, she didn’t need to. Hiruzen was still alive, but the least she could do was to stand up and fight, if not for Konoha then for herself. Going from town to town, accruing debt like no other, gambling it all away, drinking. She was running away from her problems, and while that is normal and sometimes an appropriate response, she’d been doing this for years. Decades.

“...Say, as a token of appreciation, Hiruzen sent you something,” Jiraiya said, “he’s got this aged rice wine, forty something years if I remember. Give it to her, will you, Naruto?”

Naruto glanced from the white haired sage to Tsunade, who was still drinking, almost as if trying to ignore his words.

“...No, I don’t think I will,” Naruto said.

For some reason, that was what made Tsunade’s eyebrows twitch.

Naruto raised his own eyebrows, smelling an opportunity. She didn’t react to words, but Sake? A gift meant for her that the courier refused to deliver?

Naruto smirked, taking the Sake out of his arm seal and held it in his hands, as if to examine it.

“A rare thing, this is. Hiruzen said that it cost him a fortune, and he knew that it was your favourite,” Naruto commented.

“Then give it,” Tsunade said, voice wavering in slighted drunkenness. She wasn’t too far gone to have no cognitive function, but she was somewhat half of the way there.

Naruto shook his head. “No.”

Jiraiya rose from his seat, motioning to grab the bottle off of him, but with a quick twist of his wrist, it was sent back to the storage seal.

“...Brat, Hiruzen gave you an order to give that bottle as a gift to Tsunade,” Jiraiya scowled.

“He did. He told me to deliver this to Tsunade as something to ease her way back to Konoha,” Naruto nodded.

“And you would be going against his orders in your refusal to do so,” Jiraiya said, narrowing his eyes.

“I’m not. He told me to give this to Tsunade Senju. I don’t see her here,” Naruto shrugged, as his eyes roamed to Tsunade, whose amber eyes now finally met his blindfolded gaze in irritation, “All I see is an old granny, running away from her problems for decades and hasn’t stopped.”

“...”

“...”

“...”

Neither Jiraiya, Shizune, nor Tsunade spoke, but the last Senju’s head tilted downwards, her bangs covering her eyes as a spark of emotion burned through her unlike anything she’d ever felt for so long.

“...you have a death wish, kiddo,” Jiraiya said.

“Do I? I don’t have a reason to be afraid of grannies past their prime,” Naruto laughed.

Tsunade’s finger twitched.

Naruto tilted his head an inch backwards, just enough for Tsunade’s punch to fly past where his face was, meaning to send him to the dream world. Instead, it landed on the bar wall that the table was attached to, and sent it into splitters of wood and rubbles of stone.

The bar shook for a moment, as if a small earthquake had just run through.

Now, silence permeated not just in their group, but throughout the bar as other customers stared wide-eyed at them.

Tsunade did not move from her position, as if to say that the shot was a warning instead of a miss.

“...since you’re so eager,” Naruto said, as he stood up slowly, completely unfazed by her strength. “How about a spar?”

Tsunade slowly detached her fist from the wall, eyes on him like an assassin set out to kill.

Naruto smiled. “Heck, I’ll even give you a handicap.”

He raised one finger into the air. “I’ll beat you with just one finger.”

Tsunade growled. “Fine. I’ll make you regret ever setting foot in front of me.”

She turned away, clearly intending for him to follow.
