She has bent over backwards to KEEP their father's true nature hidden but now the kids are acting out because they think their poor innocent dad was taken away. At this point, they need to know the truth. This isn't her using the kids as a weapon. It is her realizing the fake persona of dad is causing issues with the kids. You are right that plenty of women do this in real life. Rita is not abusing the system. Oh and at this point, she would be well within her rights to abuse the system. Allegedly reformed Paul attempted to rape her. Sorry Mr LB but after that Paul deserves anything and everything Rita throws his way.

If I had kids I would personally want to limit the access of a drug addict who beat me so badly I ended up with broken bones. But she is wrong for this situation and Paul should have equal say so for everything with his kids? He put himself in jail the first time due to his own actions, and this time because of something Dexter did. As their mom, taking their kids to see there father in prison (which is a good thing to do) there may be rules that state she has to be present. Another case, Deb mentions sex on the phone at work, which you imply is not okay, but Masuka literally makes these comments constantly at work. Why the difference in standards? I still love your content, and will continue to watch and support, but when it comes to anything dealing with relationships, you are completely clouded by your own experiences, which I will refrain from asking any personal questions about out of respect for you. I do however think you need to reflect on this and how it has caused you to have unfair opinions and assumptions about women. Aside from this, great reaction and I cannot wait for your reaction next week!
