Also--I love that scene with Dr. Krakour, the therapist that Dr. Melfi recommended to Carmela. He completely disambiguates Carmela's life in a way no one else does throughout the series. Her sense of detachment and false moral superiority is laid bare, and she's forced to confront it. Don't get me wrong, I love Carmela, but no matter how she tries to justify it to herself or others, she's not above it all, and she never will be unless she gives up a lifestyle that she's unwilling to let go of.
