agreed about that ice cream. i can eat a 1.5 quart of ice cream but gain 5 pounds. its by no means 5 lbs but some how theres a multiplication effect going.

Thereβs a line between depicting brutal violence (BB, the Sopranos, Game of Thrones) as an evil that exists, and depicting a torturer as justified because heβs torturing bad people. I donβt get the appeal.

If you don't believe in capital punishment, then of course you are against him. You could argue against vigilantes but the first two guys were 100% guilty and let go from the court system. My rule for Dexter would be do no harm to innocent people. If you do, you are done. Should one person be judge jury and executioner, no but I won't miss the evil people he puts in the dark depths of the ocean. Just remember how dangerous he would be if Harry hadn't taught him the code. That would be a case full of innocent blood slides.

2025-02-13 22:00:47 +0000 UTCI could be wrong but I don't think showtime puts nearly the same amount of money into their shows and this started before streaming cash started exploding. So yeah, it is probably budgeted much lower per episode than most of the shows you have watched.

Very conflicted :D Just like about capital punishment... some people really need to go, but I'm still not a big fan. Just put them to work in uranium mine or something.

2025-02-13 06:11:42 +0000 UTCMan I was a HEAVY smoker. Anywhere from 3 to 5 packs of Newports per day. That 1st minty Newport right after brushing my teeth always just hit different. Oddly enough I couldnβt stand the smell. π I kept baby wipes on the dash of my 18 wheeler and I was wiping my hands after every cigarette. My threshold was 2 weeks. I made it that long without plowing through folks on the interstate so I figured I had it kicked. I banned myself from actually going inside gas stations or truck stops just because that was part of the ritual. I still have the occasional cigar or two on the weekends but thatβs it. That nicotine and COPIOUS amounts of caffeine were my early trucking days fuel before our logbooks went digital a 1000 - 1200+ mile day without stopping was normal. Other old school truckers use to be heavy on meth ( high speed chicken feed ). Truckers use to soak toothpicks in liquid meth. If they started getting sleepy? Theyβd grab a toothpick to chew on π
