In an interview a few years ago, Diane Keaton (Kay) said the studio wanted Coppola to fire Al Pacino and hire a “tougher” Michael. They had only seen the earliest scenes of Michael and Kay when he was still distancing himself from the family business. Keaton credits Coppola with a genius move to save his lead actor: He filmed the scene where Michael comes out of the restroom with the gun and kills the two men in the restaurant. Studio loved it and Pacino stayed.

But , I do know how it is livin down South when it snows.(13 years in Chattanooga , TN in my youth). And I have a writer friend of 40 years that lives in Huntsville , AL. I hope all have some nice warm comfort food to eat , and some "snow movies" to watch. Peace

I think my county has a SINGLE salt truck! but yeah, doesn't work well down south. the snow will melt in the day, then refreeze overnight into ice sheets. roads will be bad for awhile most likely. no power outage here thankfully. hope yours is up and running again soon :)
