The real money for those companies is made from transaction fees anyway, they don't care about interest really! Ironically credit cards should only be used by people that don't need them! Crazy world we live in.

2025-01-06 01:18:41 +0000 UTCWhen I was 20 I had a friend about to retire down in Florence Alabama. He was a government contractor that would fly to Colorado to help dispose of nerve gas. And he also worked up to retirement from the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority). The guy was loaded. He said he always wanted a house on the Tennessee river. He retired in his mid 50’s. Bought a BEAUTIFUL place on the river. Boat house, dock and a huge yard. 1 month later and 💥. Heart attack and checks out. Call it paranoia if ya want. But that’s why I refuse to retire until I physically just can’t go anymore. I’ve seen it wayyyyy too many times and mentally I just can’t make myself do it.

The vulnerability and a kind of little-boy charm made us root for Tony even though we knew Tony would as soon murder every one of us as not. What an actor. He is said to have been embarrassed by stardom. Fans would show him his face tatooed on their bodies, and he was more saddened and bewildered than flattered.

BTW , Frank Sinatra Jr. played himself in this episode. And you mentioned playing cards w/friends/family for money. Just curious as to what type of poker you play/prefer. I myself prefer 7 Card Stud.
