Novak KILLED his father, he bit him with his regular vampire teeth and ripped his throat out. Letting him bleed to death. He said "father I have spared you from my fate. You will die." His sister asked for the same and exposed her throat, that was why she was surprised when his reaper jaw opened. Before he did it, Novak said "you were always his favourite." It looks like he wanted to corrupt her, letting her live as a reaper as a final insult to his father. That wasn't what his sister wanted. She wanted to die with her father. So after Blade killed Novak (technically Novak finished himself off but he was going to die anyway and he knew he lost) she asked Blade to kill her before she turned. So she didn't change her mind or anything. She always wanted to die as a vampire, she just didn't think Novak was going to turn her into a reaper.

2025-01-29 01:31:19 +0000 UTCHere is my logic for why the clothes burn up to. From the first movie we know that fully covering your skin with clothes and sunscreen can stop sunlight. We saw Frost do this when he killed that council member. But he had both sunscreen and a full biker suit. In this movie we saw Reinhardt (bald dude with bomb on his head) put his arm into the sunlight. It smoked but didn't burst into flames. From what I can logic out, that was because he didn't have suncream. It still hurts and burned him but it didn't cause him to combust. So, in my head canon, the light must cause the vampires body to ignite form the inside if the skin absorbs enough sunlight. Which burns up their clothes with them. Their body combusting with a high temperature burns up the clothes, not the sunlight burning the clothes. And that cream Frost had must have also cooled his body down while the sunlight hit his biker suit. The human body has a lot of stored energy in fat and protein, so if it all converted into light, which we see it do, (E=MC²) then it would release A LOT of energy, enough to burn away pretty much anything near them.

For a more.... soft/sad/semi-tragic, and amazing take on the vamp genre, there's "let the right one in" (the original Russian film). 30 Days of night is brutal, action/thriller with vamps attacking a camp in the pole where there's still 30 days remaining till dawn, Day Shift is aight: it has Snoop in it, Queen of the Damned also "aight" it tries to combine The Vampire Lestat AND Queen of the damned by Anne Rice and does.... not anything like the books, PLEASE DO NOT DO MORBIUS EVEN THOUGH IT'S MARVEL IT SUCKS HARD WORST VAMPIRE HERO EVER!

Also, I doubt there's going to be a new Blade anytime soon, considering Deadpool and Wolverinem but perhaps they make up a new earth for him to add him to the general MCU. It was dope AF to see him in that, as well as Gambit (between him and Cyclops they were my favorite to play as in SNES/Sega.

It came out not long after blade 2. HOWEVER, there is a reboot of blade with Mahershala Ali as blade coming out next year I believe!

Also very happy to know you will be giving them a re-watch! And you know we love seein you get caught up in the films. : ] So now we have in interesting next 2 weeks and beyond. Next up will be The Godfather Pt. 3 , then Blade : Trinity , BOTH of which have split opinions by fans. I am very interested , and excited to see what you think of them. As for "The After " , I'm gonna say now , The Spider-Man series. And , as there are only 2 more Monday's in the month/year , Let's start 2025 with Spider-Man! As for this movie, I reckon we're meant to infer that Blade met Scud in the US at some point during the two years he spent looking for Whistler, and the search eventually brought them to Europe. This is exactly what I needed today. Turn my brain off badassery. Bless you, sir.
