yeah Ansel Adams... then probably Annie Leibovitz, who MrLBoyd mentioned he wasn't impressed with lol.

True but by Mike's own code of criminal ethics, Werner had skin in the game and he made two serious errors. Werner knew they were doing something illegal and given the location, he knew it was probably drug related. He was an idiot. His big mouth at the bar should have ended his life and once home, he would have continued to talk after a few drinks. If he did this type of work in the past, I am surprised someone else hadn't taken him out. Clearly Mike is torn up about Werner but based on Werner's own actions, he shouldn't be. Werner didn't mean any harm but at the end of the day he was sloppy.

None of those drop guys have any ties to Gus Fring. Gus is pissed that Lalo is causing him to lose money and manpower. Even though he allowed it to happen, he is made somewhat powerless to stop it. So because he is pissed and put in a powerless situation, he takes it out on Lyle. That is the way I see it. He doesn't need an alibi. He is simply exerting his power over Lyle to offset his loss of power over Lalo. It isn't a drop in the bucket when the loss was caused by your rival. That $700K loss burns Gus up which is why he took it out on Kyle.

Visual witnesses are terrible. I failed the gorilla test. I consider myself to be well above average intelligence and I failed the eyewitness test. We see what we want to see. Our brain fills in missing pieces of the puzzle. If I am ever on a criminal jury, I will pay 0% attention to any eyewitness testimony. It is totally unreliable.

I think Howard is being genuine. Chuck stopped him from helping Jimmy. I disagree that Howard dislikes Charlie Hustle. That name wasn't meant in a derogatory fashion. Howard could see that Jimmy was willing to work hard. As I have said many times before, when Jimmy creates a game plan, he works exceedingly hard to make it work. I don't think Howard is a bad person at his core. I think he allowed Chuck to have his way but I am not sure anyone would have been able to fight Chuck. I think Howard reacted the way most people would have reacted. I do think Howard has a problem reading the room. Jimmy despises Howard and some of it is misguided because all Howard did was follow Chuck's orders. I can defend Jimmy for most of his illegal actions. The bowling ball incident is just mean. Of all people, Jimmy should understand Chuck's power to influence people. Howard really was offering an olive branch to Jimmy and he crushed it with bowling balls.

So.. Episode 5 tomorrow then?

In addition to needing Lyle around as an an alibi, Gus needed to be in control of something since he didn’t have control over the DEA seizure.

I'm thinking Mike wanted those punks to tune him up as punishment. Not just for scaring his granddaughter and causing a fissure between himself and the only two people who he loves, but also for killing Werner. Mike is tortured by his guilt, bearing the weight of all his choices--well-intentioned as they might've been--that led up to him killing Werner, who in Mike's eyes was a decent man that didn't deserve to die.

I think if you asked most normies to name a famous photographer, assuming they could think of one, they'd probably come up with Ansel Adams. First round of Jeopardy-level trivia, I reckon. Hank is a pretty sharp guy, so in relation with Gomez preparing to take some photos, I can see how Hank would think up that quip. I went a long way to explain that, though, which might be evidence that I'm just plain wrong 😆
