2024-11-07 07:43:33 +0000 UTCThe opera house wasn’t Mike’s son’s thing, it was Werner Zeigler who sat at that very bar with Mike and talked about how his father (also an engineer) built the Sydney opera house. At this moment Mike is going through it and getting drunk primarily because of how terrible he feels for killing Werner at the end of the last season; his granddaughter mentioning his son was just fuel to the fire. Big turning point for both Saul (“in the game” now with the cartel with no turning back) and Mike (Werner was his friend, and he had to kill him simply on orders which was a first, before this he only killed for revenge ie his sons killers and even refused to kill Tuco, so he feels terrible about himself)
