"what does the law mean to you" was a Chuck question ("the law is too important blah blah blah"), they were giving him a "softball" to talk about Chuck (and what the law means to him and the McGill family)

2025-01-06 18:13:09 +0000 UTCIf your wife likes niche non-fiction and she hasn't read it. She should look into "The $12 million stuffed shark: The curious economics of contemporary art". Very interesting, entertaining, and fascinating. I re-read it many times.

2024-10-27 04:55:11 +0000 UTCNo, they picked up on something that you didn't, using emotion. Hence the use of them: boom defense against scams.

2024-10-27 04:49:59 +0000 UTC😂😂😂 The male equivalent of women’s secret pocket. I think they call that the prison wallet. Aka keystering 😂😂😂

2024-10-25 17:19:24 +0000 UTCBecause the law isnt just "logical" like you suggest, it would be convenient if its black and white, but its not. Taking the human element out of it is just never going to be the whole picture. Im guessing that thought process about not caring about emotions is a product of the aspergers though :')

2024-10-25 11:05:24 +0000 UTCAs far as the Jimmy stuff goes. That fight he had with Kim in the parking garage is so powerful to me, Bob Odenkirk once again giving one of his best performances. Some of the most iconic lines of the show in that scene right there. "You think I'm the type of lawyer guilty people hire" is a direct call back to season 1. Betsy Kettleman said that to him, if you remember her, she's the bitch with the simp criminal husband. That line really stuck with Jimmy

2024-10-25 09:14:02 +0000 UTCI can't help but gush over how much I love Lalo. He has the charisma of Jimmy, the Intelligence of Gus, the combat skills of Mike. By far the most formidable of the Salamancas. With his introduction, you have now completed the silver era and reached the golden era of the show, which makes up the remainder of the show

2024-10-25 08:18:42 +0000 UTCEduardo "Lalo" Salamanca is here. The greatest antagonist in the history of television

2024-10-25 08:08:19 +0000 UTCIf you remember from breaking bad when Walt and Jessie take Saul in the RV to the desert and threaten him in front of an empty grave Saul says "Did Lalo send you?" And Walt says "no....??" you're in for a treat.

2024-10-25 06:08:03 +0000 UTCWhat I love about Jimmy's content here is the irony that I do think he was being (at least mostly) sincere in his answer to the law question. He was thrown off at first but once he started talking about representing/fighting for people, I do think that is the part of being a lawyer specifically (as opposed to just scamming on it's own) he probably enjoys most. As he said to Kim later how would him talking about Chuck be sincere. However, it was clear that's what they were looking for. I think the woman's last question was a strong indication of that (asking if there was any influence on his views towards the law). It's worth keeping in mind that Chuck was very well respected and we'd heard before he had close ties to the BAR association, so it's likely they knew Chuck well and wanted Jimmy to talk about wanting to follow his brother's footsteps.

2024-10-25 05:43:40 +0000 UTCThe male equivalent could be that little mini pocket inside of the larger pocket in some pairs of pants

2024-10-25 05:23:46 +0000 UTCThe male equivalent of the secret pocket is more than likely the sock pocket.
Say Helaire to ya mutha for me.
2024-10-25 04:31:33 +0000 UTCJimmy doing that Cajun accent cracks me up BAD 😆

2024-10-25 03:50:26 +0000 UTCYou didn't give your wife the right question. There is a huge difference between her being upset and her being very angry with you. That might require a whole different level of gift to get you out of the doghouse.
