It might be a Max thing with the space bar. Mine never works when I watch something on Max.

And while I have seen the whole series many times , it's still a blast watching again and seeing your reaction. And thanks for the Jersey shade this week. Always fun. (Plus , I take a drink each time you make a Jersey comment. lol) Next episode is another banger BTW. And next weeks dinner will be home made Chicken Alfredo with roasted Romanesco cauliflower. Can't wait!! Peace

2024-09-20 06:05:13 +0000 UTC00:8:25 - Just noticed something fucking cool in this episode!! When Aid and Christopher find Brendon's body , the TV is on. The show that was on was Kolchak : The Night Stalker - Season 1 - Episode 5 -The Werewolf. (Werewolf on a cruse ship.) It's one of my fave shows. I heard Darren McGavin's voice , and the sub's said silver bullets and knew it for sure. Proof that no matter how many times you may watch something , you can still notice the odd cool thing now and then. Peace

2024-09-20 03:11:39 +0000 UTCThe casting of Tony’s children was a feat for this show. Casting child actors who were not all that experienced was risky, but they grow into the roles and have a real “family” vibe with the actors playing their parents. As for Anthony Jr, I don’t think he was naive, just young enough that he didn’t have much curiosity about the “waste management business.” People definitely get rich owning those contracts, so the kid would not have found it very suspicious. How many young kids care where the family money comes from. The daughter, Meadow, seems to think it’s kind of cool at first that her dad is in the mob. She’s been sheltered from the ugliness.

2024-09-20 02:22:40 +0000 UTCWhen Tony tells Dr. Melfi, “I get a lot of good ideas here,” she has no idea she’s making him a more effective mobster. Therapy is teaching Tony to read people better, to consider their motivations.

2024-09-20 02:16:10 +0000 UTCDr. Melfi told Tony to "let them think their in charge" referring to his mother. Tony took that idea and applied it to his dealings with Uncle Junior. That's what he was referring to when he said he was getting a lot of good ideas from therapy.
