I am (as always) late to this, but I just want to say that I really like the wood sculptures(?) - they give a really nice ambience to the room, and make it less "tech-y" - which I think is a good thing. The shelves of various bits of tech - the contrast between the really nice looking wood and the tech is also appealing - at least to me. Your videos and your environment are a place I come to relax, slow down, and watch/learn. I hope you can retain that style, but it's your jam BABY :-)

If I could get a do over, I would spend the extra for a standing desk with proper cable management. My desk shares space between my work laptop with 24" monitor and my Lenovo mini/blu-ray ripping drive with 34" curved LG monitor. The 24" HP is very old and does not support VESA. looking to pickup a 27" curved, https://a.co/d/7MKObgX, monitor and this mount https://a.co/d/hBgvZH9. With the monitor's off my desk, I'd be able to declutter my desk some. I'm working in a small space in our apartment. Once the P520 is built as a Proxmox server, it will get tucked away in our bedroom attached to a 2.5GB port on my FIOS extender. Looking forward to when I have my environment fully built out.

I really need to do the same with my setup, but I'm always so busy and my ADD kicks in and I get nothing done lol. I'm looking forward to part 2 whenever it's out! Also, feel better... being sick f*cking sucks... I'm always some degree of sick due to my sleep cycle, but yeah feel better.
