I don't think her husband was the good Samaritan, as she said that was 8 years ago. I do think her telling that story did make him think about the good Samaritan though, which is what led to him agreeing to help Nacho against Hector (and to get the coordinates he asked Nacho for in this episode so they wouldn't just be missing forever).

The taste/experience is going to be marginally better than something that’s almost as good but for a fraction of the price. It’s more about bragging rights, but what’s the point if it’s just going to become waste?

Like, just enough information to falsely appear knowledgeable to a layperson, which would would kind of make sense with his character. You know, so he can bullshit them haha.
