You're spoiled because you've been watching new movies. This IS legit the movie that kickstarted the whole superhero movie epoch but the writing is kinda trash and so are the special effects half the time. Nostalgia, but that's it. The cartoons were actually better. *Answers: X-men was considered the "LGBT superhero comics/show" and drew a lot of parallels, so you could basically say it's an exaggerated version of "You bring shame to our family, we don't want you" basically. She's 16, exactly. I remember when I was 16, I sure found girls my own age attractive but it's absolutely not like I didn't find older women attractive... I'm pretty sure it's pretty normal once you hit puberty because... it appears a lot of people my age felt the same way so I can't say it's cause I''m weird.

Would you rather a KIND stranger stop and give her a ride or be concerned your daughter might get him in trouble with the police and leave her out in the snow? If the answer is yes: congrats, she didn't freeze/starve/get taken by an UNKIND stranger. If the anser is no... well your daughter is dead now. With that in mind, would you rather live in a world where people stop minding just their own business and take the time to help others in their path (win-win-win-win-win situation for everyone if everyone does it) or not? So the problem is actually the phenomenon of false accusations for profit, and it's a thing that actually needs to be fixed. I'd rather be falsely accused though and go to jail than not stop out of concern for myself and someone else dies.

If you focus on character, values, boundaries and how to set them, and also how/where/who finding THE permanent ONE, then they will just set those boundaries and if the WRONG ONE tries anything before it's aligned with what she's been taught is correct: - 1 girlfriend will be the result. Not that they should be in the room with the doors close, it's that she herself would say no to that even if/when you aren't present (which will happen before 18 sometimes, and at some point HAS to happen regularly, for long periods, permanently, if you're planning on raising an adult) The trick is that they do it out of love and respect, trust and understanding you know better, NOT fear. Once they hit a certain age, fear or guilt and physical force will be useless. She should theoretically by that age just not WANT to be in her/his room alone with a guy even with the door open.

2024-09-02 17:17:05 +0000 UTCGreat to see you're watching the originals! These are the movies that started the whole superhero fad, and they're still some of the best ones IMO. X2 is the absolute best of the lot. I dunno. I feel like there's a sincerity to the first two X-mens and the Toby Maguire Spidermans that's missing in modern movies. They aren't trying so hard to be cool or quippy; they're about people. I always liked the Scott/Logan rivalry because it feels like they're both enjoying it in their own way. Scott gets to act childish for once and Logan clearly hasn't had a lot of friendships in his life. One thing to keep in mind though is that they didn't make these movies with the future franchise in mind, so the timeline isn't entirely consistent between these and the first class movie.

Hell , Payback w/Mel Gibson has 2 majorly different versions. Like 2 different films more or less.(highly recomended IMO.) Peace

But governements might change and some shady people might lead a country one day. (I'm sure there are no worries in the USA :) ). And then those lists might get misused. There are some countries that keep dna data on all it's citizen's and that might seem like a good idea for crime prevention and solving. There are a couple genes that makes the chance increase that someone is homosexual. You can see how that could be misused in some countries where homosexuality is illegal.

They could be required to register themselves as non-mutants suddenly finding themselves on the bottom instead of the mutants, or maybe the mutants would decide to put them in camps or that they don't even want "them" around anymore. Turn about would be fair play after all. So excited you are watching this!

That has already been addressed in the comments , so Nuff said. Same w/the Cyclops/Wolvie stuff. The next one is much better IMO , so there. lol. I do have a question for the rest of the Patrons here. (And no spoilers here.) How many fans of the Logan movie have see the "Noir Cut" (Black & white ) ? And which version do you prefer. Inquiring minds want to know. Keep kickin ass Mr LB! Peace (Ok , time for another non-cape film request. A Western this time. The Wild Bunch - 1969 - One of the best bad-ass westerns of all time! Not many reactions on the old You Tube (sad ta say) , But a stellar film. Banger cast , great action , a bitter-sweet story , and an ending that must be seen to be believed. Any fan of it will agree.

2024-08-27 07:08:51 +0000 UTCIf you see this in time, here’s a tip for your ‘X-MEN’ watch list There are 3 films that have alternate cuts that are arguably superior to the original films. “The Wolverine” 2013- Rated R cut with more violence, extended scenes “Days of Future Past: Rogue Cut” 2014- adds a vital plot line back to the movie that improves the flow. “Deadpool 2” extended cut with alternate jokes (for better or worse, longer action scenes, and better music.)

Fun fact, the X-men started when writers at Marvel were getting fatigued by having to come-up with new powers for new characters And Then having to work-out a semi-plausible means for them to gain such powers (super-soldier serum, sorceror training, being a Norse God, radioactive spiders... etc...) until one day somebody at Marvel said, "Maybe they're just Born that way?" And so Mutants came about. It didn't start out that way but very quickly the X-men became allegorical for civil-rights struggles of various minorities and the writers leaned into it. That last line by Magneto of, "...by any means necessary." is a deliberate call-back to Malcolm X. Yes, Professor X is played by Sir Patrick Stewart of stage and screen and many memorable roles... including Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise. Most fans these days feel the Wolverine/Cyclops rivalry and romantic triangle with Jean Grey are the weakest parts of this film franchise. In the comic-books it's a very well established thing, and it should be since it was built-up over years worth of comic-book issues but the suits I guess told the writers, "This is a thing from the comics, put it in, the nerds will love it and they'll buy more tickets. No it doesn't make sense for that kind of rivalry to instantly happen in twenty-minutes after meeting each other, but Money!" Maybe not at the time of the film's release, but certainly from the time when the producers and maybe some of the writers remember being young it was just kinda expected that young girls would develop crushes on older men and the older man was expected to just kindly humor the girl (to a point) until the infatuation wore off. I'm sure Logan cares about Rogue in a fraternal or maybe paternal way, but any romantic feelings in that pairing are almost certainly one-sided. I thought it was obvious from this being pre-buyout Fox that it was outside of the continuity that the MCU resides in and thus it's own separate thing, that's how IP Rights Management works. Anyway, on to the next X!

Vibranium absorbs vibrations and Adamantium is indestructible. In the comics caps shield is made of a blend of both. in the movies, because of licensing issues, its only made of Vibranium because Marvel studios didn't have the right to use Adamantium.

I enjoy the newer movies, but I'm particularly fond the older ones with the OG cast. ------------------------ Love the way the subtitles are laid out. ------------------------ Driving tests should be taken by everyone to make sure they can still drive. More and more I see people forgetting basic things like using their turn signals, or even stop for a stop sign. Sudden health issues like head injuries, or even tumors can also pop up and ruin someone's ability to drive. ------------------------ Putting any people on a registry is a slippery slope, eventually that could extend to the mutant's parents and children... if they're even allowed to have children. They might breed even more dangerous mutants after all. Perhaps afterwards we can extend that to the rest of the family as well, their children might be mutant as well. ------------------------ I don't know how true it is, but I always thought that humans are great at self-fulfulling prophecies when it comes to the scary unknown, or even things we just dislike due to past grievances or whatnot. We latch on to that hate and just accelerate the oncoming pain and suffering for everyone involved. ------------------------ Scott and Logan often behave as frenemies. In comics, movie and animation, and between many writers. Sometimes it comes off well, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it's "Jesus Christ you two, kiss and make up already."
