I personally enjoyed this episode quite a bit. It is a bit slow paced, but I was following what Mike was doing and enjoyed watching his process. From his perspective, noone should have known where he was (especially where his car was) when he was going to shoot Hector. That's why he was convinced someone must have been tracking him. Then once he found the tracker he checked and discovered someone was tracking his actual car too, so presumably someone out there knows all the stuff he's been getting into as he's been tracking the Cartel. That's why he goes to such lengths to try to track this mysterious entity back.

2024-08-21 15:54:09 +0000 UTCIt may be slow but it gives us more insight into Mike. He is VERY meticulous and when he has an instinct that he is being tracked, he is probably correct. I don't consider this filler. just a deeper dive into Mike and the way he works.

When I watched it, it almost turned me off from it but I hadn’t watched Breaking Bad in about 7 years at that point so I remembered less about the characters to be invested, making it worse. Now that I’ve rewatched BB I’d say every episode there is better, even Fly. Gets better from here, but yes, we did not need to watch Mike take apart a car for 10 minutes.
