If this video is about episode one from this season then it is self explanatory. Aemond killed luke and daemon killed the boy for revenge. Obviously he put the hit out for Aemond but he wasn't there so they got the boy instead. Why would that need explaining? That is literally what happened in the show. If there is a theory or an easteregg or backstory that we couldn't get from just watching the show then it is irrelevant.

I read of viewers who interpreted their closeness as a romantic love, but unless that’s something from the books, which I have not read, I’ll just assume it’s people projecting. Emma D’Arcy who plays adult Rhaenyra is openly bisexual, so maybe people see a subtext in a fictional relationship.

But these stories where made by three very unreliable narrators. It's up to the reader to decide what version of events one believes. The show is now effectively the canon story of what happened🤓
