2024-07-13 06:20:00 +0000 UTCThis movie has always been a classic. You HAVE TO WATCH Shaun of the Dead. This movie is essentially the spiritual sequel to that one. Made earlier with the same two main two actors playing friends again (different characters though). Very similar humor but a bit less amped. Similar in that it's a comedy and a spoof but also somewhat serious with it's own plot line. Though instead of being a spoof of a cop movie it's a zombie movie. That one is even better IMHO. Also Lurch is the same actor who played the Hound in GoT. Let that one wrinkle your brain a bit.

2024-07-12 17:20:21 +0000 UTCThis one was the "action comedy" in the trilogy. The first one was horror/comedy and the last one was apocolyptic/comedy. Shaun of the Dead was my favorite of the 3, but this is an extremely close second. Loved it! And yes, Wright's transitions are legendary level good!

As others have commented , Shaun Of The Dead , and The Worlds End are parts 1 and 3 of the "Cornetto Trilogy" . And , judging by your reaction , I am sure you will be watching them. Him , Neil Marshall , and Guy Richie all have a "similar" style that I can see you enjoy.(IMO) I have but one Edgar Wright request.. Baby Driver. PLEASE!! Top 5 Heist Movies IMO. All real car stunts/driving , (little to no CG) , the music is killer , and I think you will be impressed how it is used in the film. And a stellar cast as well. I know there are others that would LOVE to see it Sir. As always , Thank you Sir. Peace

Also, when this movie first got released, i remember my friends and I picked up "yarp" and "narp" as common responses. Wonderful choice to react to. I wish they had done a part 2 as well.

It's a trilogy because its three films made by the same director and actors with somewhat common aspects but they're completely standalone movies that can be watched on their own or not at all. The other two are underwhelming

Their first movie is Shaun of The Dead, and the third is The World's End...There is a second Game of Thrones actor in this one, but he looks very different. Michael (Lurch) is The Hound in GoT.
