BCS S2E4 FULL REACTION

Comments

Lmao I had a car crash into my apartment window from an inebriated driver, and because no one died or was hurt, they took 3 hours ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Tatyana Zinger

I love Saul but I still think Breaking Bad is the better show. I'd rather let parts of BB spoil BCS than let parts of BCS spoil BB. I also find it so interesting how they kind of reverse engineered the timeline to make everything fit properly and with such attention to detail. You don't see that very often.

Meg Geddes

My thoughts exactly about Glock. They are the Legos of sidearms. I stick with my good ole Walther. Almost bought my son in-law a Glock when he married my daughter. Got him a nice little dark earth Canik TP9 elite SC instead. Thousands of rounds and absolutely zero issues. My Walther is the PDP. Swapped out the factory plastic guide rod and spring for a stainless steel rod and 15 pound spring. Iโ€™ve got several others but the PDP is my favorite. Those factory triggers are just ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿผ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿผ

Illegal arms dealer man is one of my favorite side characters. The consummate professional. Knowledgeable, courteous, dependable, and extremely careful. The intimation that Mike was a Marine sniper who served in Vietnam is a cool way to flesh out his character by just giving us hints at his past. Both he and the arms dealer being Vietnam veterans gives them an unspoken bond, and I dig it.

Jake Martin

Agreed, totally. I heard another reactor--Asia and BJ?--characterize Jimmy and Chuck like this, and it stuck with me: Chuck often does the right thing for the wrong reasons, and Jimmy often does the wrong thing for the right reasons.

Jake Martin

Also good job recognizing Crazy 8 aka Domingo aka the guy Walter killed in the beginning of Breaking Bad. Considering the short amount of screen time he had and how long ago you watched that, you have a good memory in my opinion

antbox1992

I don't like Chuck either. I know he's technically right about certain things but I don't care

antbox1992

Lol that was pretty quick idk. I had an attempted break-in once at my home and they took 25 minutes

Slimsycentaur37

My issue with Chuck isnโ€™t due to him being a Jimmy hater. Itโ€™s that heโ€™s pompous.

Please stop with the "I wish I'd watched this before Breaking Bad" stuff. A big part of the storytelling in BCS is based on the assumption that the audience has already seen BB. They know exactly what they're doing. They know the audience is thinking "why isn't this character in Breaking Bad?" and they use it to their advantage. I'm so glad I watched Breaking Bad before Better Call Saul!

Dave Ferguson

You aren't supposed to like Chuck. In fact, if anyone out there likes Chuck, I would be suspicious of that person. The actor does a great job with the character and he only gets better. A bit shocking to the old folks on here because we know him from the Laverne & Shirley tv sitcom. I would never have picked him to be a great actor back in the late 70s.

TigerMyth

That police response time for Tuco was awful, that was almost 10 mins before they showed up

Cademan

This show is so good. Wish we were watching two per week instead of Casa de Incest Dragons.

Scott Asher

If you watch BCS first, it would be disappointing and confusing to see Saul and Mike as side characters in Breaking Bad after seeing them so fleshed out in BCS. Also, part of season 6 of BCS does not make sense if you have not seen Breaking Bad.

redhawk

The other cameo in this episode is Walt's gun dealer. You are correct about Tuco. He just got out of prison when Breaking Bad started.

redhawk

Why would YOU need to see BCS before BB when no one else in the world did? The tie ins are the magic, and you would be defeating the prequel part. Trust in the process. Also, I noticed...."KIM WEXLER" multiple times. Good on you.
