Rhys Ifans (Otto) killed it in this episode. His acting range is phenomenal. Really impressed by Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon) as well. He held his own.

2024-06-27 04:44:54 +0000 UTCYes watch season 1 again and you’ll recognize the woman prisoner as the woman Daemon claimed he was marrying and used an excuse to steal a dragon egg for the child he claimed she was pregnant with. Young Rhaenyra (teenager) arrived on her dragon and confronted Daemon on the bridge at Dragonstone, which is where she now remembers seeing the dark-haired woman.

So much so that I literally just finished watching the episode five minutes ago, but need your commentary so here I am about to watch it again. This might sound weird, but watching your reactions almost feels like watching it with a person in real life. Only difference, can't actually talk to you. Sometimes you say something and I'm like, "Damn! I know that answer!". LOL. Anyway, just wanted to give you props. I first subscribed on YouTube after watching your reaction to Pentatonix's Hallelujah. He's a soldier, he has real battle experience, that's good. BUT! Any of the other candidates would've understood how the whole palace-politics an drama thing worked, how it Really worked. Cole, initially I think, believed in all the stuff about knights and princesses and honor and glory just like it was in a fairy-story. He was sporting full-on Protagonist Energy, the plucky upstart who showed all the stifling old nobility what-for with his ascent by merit and everything... but then actual palace-drama started happening and when he tried to rectify all that with his honor his solution was to run-off with the Princess and marry her... STRAIGHT out of a fairy-story. And she said, "What, and give up power and privilege? Nah." Bro has just been getting crazier and crazier since.

It may make sense to you, but you're overthinking it. He committed Un-Alive because He Just Killed HIs Own Brother, he deleted a family member who he loved and on top of that this made him a Kinslayer which has extra accursed weight in this culture. He just couldn't go forward under that weight.

The one who came up with the idea of substituting the little boy for Aemond was skinnier and had lighter-brown hair and beard and his hair and beard were curlier, that guy's was black and grey. What's more, the rat-catchers 'in the King's Employ' are separate from the ones who work the rest of the Red Keep, the culprit himself established that. He's probably long-since gotten-off scott-free by now.

Visarys overthought things, considered all possible angles, trying to please all to a fault but Daemon never really thought much at all, just let himself fly-off from impulse to impulse. Remember, Visarys didn't trust Daemon with the Song of Ice and Fire, he DID trust Rhaenyra.
